Great customer service
Kommentit: The overall experience is great, especially given the outstanding customer service. In this day and age of voice-mail hell, email black holes, and useless chat-bots, having another human connection is exceptional.

Customer service is totally amazing. Whether usage questions or a problem with a template - I received answers within hours independent of day-of-week. Really phenomenal. The templates are great, modern looking. The online-usage-help is exhaustive. Features are generally speaking plentiful. Bottom line - strong thumbs up.

As with any complex piece of SW supporting various workflows, etc., it takes a little time to really create a website that covers the basic website, password protected galleries for customer review, as well as a web-shop with price-lists and stripe integration. Having compared a number of hosting services, I think Pixpa does well here. Integrating with an EU based printing service would be great. Not many customers request this, but it would be a nice add-on.

Looks good but has flaws
Kommentit: Average and at times unnecessarily frustrating. I won't be renewing my subscription. Yes, it's cheaper than some platforms out there, but the frustration and shakeable trust in the product makes me wish I'd stuck with the platform I was on before I moved to Pixpa. When I compare Pixpa to Format or Pixieset(both of whom I've used in the past) it doesn't match in terms of being a solid all-round professional product; having a clear UI (for example, there are customisation icons that are present but don't do anything - which is just confusing); and, in my experience, I don't feel the platform offers an overall sense of stability.

The customisable templates look good and it is relatively easy to create a good-looking website - however, there are limits to the customisation of the blocks systems and you end up with a relatively generic website that doesn't distinguish it from many of the platforms out there such as Squarespace. Customer service is pretty good though I often have to wait more than 24 hours for resolution of an issue.

As a professional, I have used many portfolio platform builders in my time and, for me, there are just too many wired glitches with the backend of Pixpa. It doesn't feel as stable as a platform like Squarespace or Format - not enough for me to trust it with my professional service and website long-term. I have had to reach out to the service team on too many occasions for too many basic things like the website content disappearing, not being able to log in to my account for no apparent reason, password rest emails not being sent to the correct email address etc.

Pipxa is a great user friendly website for those who really want to do it yourself
Kommentit: These guys are great. They are easy to converse with over the chat. It doesn't feel like a chat most of the time because there is very little delay in engagement once they connect. They are great coaches because if I don't understand a process, they offer a different way for me to understand what I need to know. They seem to really want me to understand and learn from them.

Kommentit: I did a lot of research when trying to choose a platform for my business. I selected pixpa because they don't have a ton of hidden fees and seemed like they had better features for less than competitors. If I would have known it would be this easy, I wouldn't have stressed and taken so long to make my website.

The support! As a new small business owner and having no website design or marketing experience I put off making a site for too long. I did have some difficulties but the chat box support staff always helped me (and I didn't have to call and be on hold!) figure out what I was doing wrong and how to make my website not just look lovely but also be functional for my business.

I wish I could have sub folders in galleries as an event photographer I have yet to figure out a good way to let a person by their own gallery vs the entire gallery outside of individual purchases or them choosing their gallery price/selection and I have to then send files outside of the website automation

Kommentit: I was struggling to find a good platform to host occasional blog posts with a lot of photos. So far, Pixpa has been amazing at hosting all of my pictures in high resolution while also displaying blog posts wonderfully!

I love how easy it is to write blog posts, and there are so many layouts that I can use to display my content. I can also upload as many pictures as I want. As a photographer, it's very important to me that I can upload my pictures and that they're displayed in high resolution. Pixpa offers this at a great price.

Best Website Builder for Creatives, Budget Friendly and Easy to Use
Kommentit: Overall, my website was very easy to build, with some minor mishaps in finding locations of buttons to alter certain aspects, and having to contact customer service (e.g. social media buttons). But customer service was fast to respond and very helpful!!!

Better than expected

Easy to Get Started & Templates Look Good

It's easy to see the changes I make on the website and it's easy to reverse the changes if I don't like it.

Pixpa has a powerful feature set at a very affordable price. It also includes client galleries. In the past I had to have 2 services, 1 for a website and another for client galleries. Now I can do all that with Pixpa.

Easy & customisable website builder

Best part about Pixpa is that non technical users with least experience in building websites can also easily use Pixpa. The UI is already easy and then availability and real time customer support makes it awesome.

Simple and Straightforward Option for Photographers
Kommentit: Overall, Pixpa was simple to set up for my real estate media business. What ultimately made me go with Pixpa over the alternatives was the Client Gallery functionality, and that has not disappointed. It provides a clean, professional, and integrated way to securely share my photos with my clients. Overall site design is similar to most user-friendly alternatives out there, but customer service has been very responsive and helpful via email whenever I've reached out with questions. What it most lacking with Pixpa is video embed support. I provide both photo and video services, and the fact that the only way for me to display my video work on my site is via YouTube/Vimeo embeds - as opposed to an unlabeled, direct embed - is underwhelming (in addition to the fact that the default resolution of embedded YouTube videos is horrible). It certainly makes it harder for me to market my videography. I have chosen to stick with Pixpa primarily 1) because of the effectiveness of the Client Galleries, and 2) in faith that video integration will be supported in the near future...because there's no excuse not to!

Customer service has also been very helpful and responsive from the start.

I love how easy it was to use. I was able to make an entire website in one day! There online "help" center answers most questions and then their customer service was great at answering additional questions in mostly real time! My old website started losing functionality and the company I had it with would never help. This is by far the best feature for novice web designers!

Great Customer Service Every time

There are a lot of things I like about Pixpa, but their customer service is the reason for this review. Recently, I switch my domain+host and couldn't figure out how to fix the issues I was encountering. I reached out to them and they quickly walked me through the process and even fixed the main issue with my host for me.

That I couldn't figure out how to it myself. I don't think that is Pixpa's fault though.
